Eagles host familiar running back on free agent visit

The Philadelphia Eagles hosted running back Ja'Quinden Jackson on a free agent visit at the Jefferson Health Training Complex, according to today's official NFL personnel notice. The Eagles signed Jackson to their 90-man roster on August 10 when the team was dealing with multiple running back injuries in training camp. You may recall the scary moment where Jackson was taken off the field in an ambulance after he got injured on the opening kickoff of the Eagles' preseason game against the New England Patriots. Saquon Barkley suffered a hamstring injury in Week 4 and missed the Eagles' Week 5 game.
