Emmanuel Petit backs Arsene Wenger for FIFA President – but there could be one key issue

Arsene Wenger has been endorsed for the FIFA presidency by one of his former Arsenal players. However, talkSPORT’s Simon Jordan doubts he will win the upcoming election. The 77th FIFA Congress will be held in Rabat, Morocco in March, with a presidential election also taking place at the summit. Incumbent president Gianni Infantino is running for re-election despite losing the support of multiple national federations. The FA is amongst those to have pulled their backing for Infantino following his failed FIFA Forward Enterprise plans to sell private equity in tournaments such as the World Cup.
