Ex-NFL star lists his top 5 Heisman frontrunners after Week 6

Robert Griffin III has now taken to social media to share who he thinks are the current favourites for the Heisman Trophy this season. Griffin was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2012 and also won the Heisman himself back in 2011 when he was playing for the Baylor Bears. Meanwhile, the most recent winner was Fernando Mendoza, who went on to be selected as the first overall draft pick by the Las Vegas Raiders in the 2026 NFL draft.
