Ex-Steelers QB Russell Wilson Interviews for Head Coach Job

Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson has interviewed for the head coach vacancy at his alma mater, NC State, according to a report by Adam Schefter of ESPN. Wilson spent three seasons playing for the Wolfpack from 2007-10, before transferring to Wisconsin for his final season of college football. NC State fired former head coach Dave Doeren, who had been with the team since 2013, earlier this season. Despite offers to play as a backup this season, the 37-year-old Wilson formally retired from the NFL in June and has been working as a studio analyst for CBS Sports this season.
