Former Buccaneers second-rounder cut by another NFL team

Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers second-round pick Chris Braswell is looking for another opportunity in the NFL after the Houston Texans waived him on Tuesday. As reported by Greg Auman of FOX Sports , Braswell was inactive for Houston's victory over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday and has yet to appear in a game this season. The Texans also confirmed the roster move in their official transaction report. Tampa Bay selected Braswell with the 57th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, hoping the former Alabama standout could develop into another productive piece of its pass rush.
