Gabriel makes Arsenal penalty promise after Champions League final heartbreak

Gabriel has insisted he would step up and take another penalty in a shootout for Arsenal , despite his decisive miss in last season's Champions League final. The Brazilian took Arsenal's fifth spot-kick against Paris Saint-Germain in Budapest and blazed it over the bar. That sealed a 4-3 shootout win for PSG as Arsenal fell agonisingly short of winning the Champions League for the first time. With Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz all off the pitch, Arsenal were unable to turn to the majority of their usual penalty takers.
