Gary Anderson to miss major £1million tournament for just second time in 20 YEARS after darts star’s struggles

GARY ANDERSON will not be involved in the Grand Slam of Darts for just the second time in the competition’s 20-year history. The Scotsman, 55, has twice appeared in the final of this TV major and also lost in five semi-finals. Yet Anderson – whose Grand Slam debut appearance was in the event’s inaugural year of 2007 – will be missing from the field this time, just like in 2022. The two-time world darts champion has not done enough throughout the year to secure his spot in the 48-player field.
