Giannis Antetokounmpo Sends Warning to Clippers After Loss to Lakers

The Miami Heat opened their five-game West Coast trip with a difficult night against the Los Angeles Lakers, falling 138-117 on Monday. Luka Doncic led the Lakers with 42 points and 13 assists, while Austin Reaves added 27 as Los Angeles improved to 6-2. Miami, meanwhile, dropped to 2-5 in Giannis Antetokounmpo’s first season with the team. Antetokounmpo delivered 30 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists, but his production could not keep the Heat close after the Lakers built a substantial lead. Miami’s next game comes Wednesday against the Los Angeles Clippers, giving the team a quick opportunity to respond.
