Thousands of cyclists and spectators have flooded into Nannup, in southern Western Australia, for the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships. Just under 1,000 cyclists took to the track over the weekend through the Blackwood Valley around Nannup. Local leaders say it has brought the town and its picturesque surrounds to a potential global audience of 130 million people. A tiny town in southern Western Australia has become the first location outside Europe to hold an elite gravel cycling world championship.
