Hollie Doyle planning to be back on a horse ‘in the next week or two’ after injury

Hollie Doyle is planning to be back on a horse ‘in the next week or two’ after missing the entire summer due to injury. The 30-year-old, Britain’s winning-most female rider, has been out of action since May when she had a fall when the horse she was riding went wrong and was fatally injured during a race at Bath. Doyle was taken to hospital where x-rays showed she had suffered a complex fracture to the lower part of her left leg from the impact of the fall. Surgeons inserted plates to stabilise the limb.
