Hornets to retire legend Muggsy Bogues’ jersey

The Charlotte Hornets are reportedly retiring former star guard Muggsy Bogues’ jersey, according to Shams Charania of ESPN. “The Charlotte Hornets on Feb. 11 are retiring the No. 1 jersey of Muggsy Bogues, the shortest player in NBA history at 5-foot-3. Bogues spent 10 of his 14 NBA seasons in Charlotte (1988-1998) and is the franchise leader in assists, steals and minutes,” Charania wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
