Mendis remained unbeaten on 87 off 48 balls to help Sri Lanka chase 169 runs with 17 balls and eight wickets in hand. Sineth Jayawardena (38) and Kamindu Mendis (40*) supported him well as the visitors avoided a whitewash in the three-match series. Earlier, Pakistan skipper Sahibzada Farhan smashed 76 runs off 47 deliveries, ending the series with 238 runs, the most runs scored by a Full-Member batter in a three-match T20I series. But there was no support at the other end, with none of the other top seven batters making more than 16.
