IND-A vs NZ-A 2nd unofficial Test: Boyle, Foxcroft put New Zealand A in control against India A after Jurel century

Christchurch An unbeaten 205-run partnership between Matt Boyle and Dean Foxcroft helped New Zealand A stay on track to chase down India A’s first-innings total of 346 at the end of the second day’s play at the Hagley Oval on Sunday. After Mohammed Siraj and Mukesh Kumar used the new ball to scalp three wickets before lunch, Boyle and Foxcroft combined to see off the early threat before making it count against the older ball. Both spinners and pacers were unable to extract anything from the surface after the ball went soft, allowing the two batters to make merry.
