IndyCar driver Jack Harvey announces cancer diagnosis at 33... but vows to compete at next year's Indy 500

The 33-year-old Brit, who has raced part-time on the IndyCar Series, revealed his diagnosis Tuesday on X, although he stopped short of specifying the form of cancer he's facing. 'My entire career has been about fighting for what's next,' he wrote in a statement. 'The next opportunity. The next chance to prove myself. The next time I could get back in the car and show what I'm capable of. 'There have been moments when the path forward was obvious, and plenty when it wasn't,' he continued.
