Julian Alvarez set to appoint Rodri’s agent to handle his professional affairs after dismissing long-time representative

Julian Alvarez has parted ways with long-time agent Fernando Hidalgo after his failed attempt to join Barcelona. The Atletico Madrid is striker now close to signing with a new representative. The Argentina international has received several proposals since ending his professional relationship with Hidalgo. However, Mundo Deportivo says he has chosen Pablo Barquero. The 26-year-old appreciates Barquero's experience and discreet approach. He believes the agent can provide the right guidance for the next stage of his career. Barquero was involved in Rodri's move to the Catalan giants this summer and might be required to engineer a similar transfer for Alvarez.
