Karl-Anthony Towns 'Very Disappointed' By Knicks' Decision To Pause Extension Talks

Karl-Anthony Towns said Sunday he was caught off guard by the New York Knicks' decision to delay contract extension talks until later in the season. The team announced late last week that it would not negotiate with eligible players until then. "It was news to me," said Towns. "Very disappointed, to say the least. Let's state the obvious: It's a business, but there is business on the court for us to handle." Towns is one of four Knicks eligible for extensions, along with Josh Hart, Miles McBride and Tyler Kolek.
