Kentucky Wildcats News: Brandon Garrison Reflects on UK Career

Former Kentucky Basketball big man Brandon Garrison is preparing for his first season at Alabama, but he still looks back fondly on his two years in Lexington. Speaking at SEC Media Days, Garrison thanked the program, its fans, and the coaches who helped him develop on and off the court. "(That experience) meant a lot, you know? With the fans, all the coaches who supported me, just everything," Garrison told KSR . "Kentucky is obviously the Mecca of basketball." Despite inconsistent performances during his Kentucky career, Garrison credited Mark Pope with helping him grow as a player.
