Kilcoo make big move as Harte installed as manager

Three-time All-Ireland winning manager Mickey Harte is returning to club management after Down kingpins Kilcoo announced him as their new manager this evening. The 2022 All-Ireland champions were unseated in the Down SFC for the first time since 2018 after being beaten by Burren at the semi-final stage. Harte, meanwhile, has been without a senior managerial post after stepping down as Offaly joint-manager, alongside Declan Kelly, in July. The legendary former Tyrone manager was "unanimously ratified" as Kilcoo manager at this evening's club committee meeting.
