Lakers Inch Closer To Superstar Addition With New Nikola Jokic Report

For the entire history of the franchise, the Los Angeles Lakers have arguably been the best team in the NBA at landing superstar talent, whether it's through the trade market or free agency, as seen with LeBron James arriving in 2018 and Luka Doncic in 2025. Now in a new era led by Doncic, the Lakers have Austin Reaves and Walker Kessler as the other two big names on the roster, but according to one recent major report, the team could be closer to landing one of the best players in NBA history: Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets.
