Lille issue furious statement before Arsenal clash after injury hammer blow

Arsenal's Champions League opponents Lille are exploring legal action after their right-back Tiago Santos suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament and a meniscal tear in his right knee during Saturday's 1-0 win over Le Havre. The 24-year-old Portuguese defender is unlikely to play again this season following Amir Richardson's controversial challenge which went unpunished by both the on-field officials and VAR - much to the dismay of the Lille hierarchy.
