Man Utd handed injury scare as two stars miss training ahead of Atletico Madrid showdown

Luke Shaw and Kobbie Mainoo were absent from Manchester United training on Monday ahead of Tuesday's Champions League encounter with Atletico Madrid. A decision on whether the pair will travel to the Spanish capital is expected later in the day, in what represents a pivotal fixture for United and head coach Michael Carrick. Benjamin Sesko, Patrick Dorgu and Noussair Mazraoui were also absent from Monday's session. Sesko and Dorgu sat out as they continue to recover from their respective injuries. Sesko is dealing with a shin complaint, and Carrick, speaking last week, admitted uncertainty over the length of his absence.
