Mavericks Announce Disappointing Kyrie Irving News Before Kings Game

The Dallas Mavericks will have to extend their winning streak without the veteran guard who helped deliver their latest victory. Dallas officially ruled out Kyrie Irving for Monday's home game against the Sacramento Kings, another setback for a team carefully managing his return from a serious knee injury. The announcement came three days after Irving scored a season-high 35 points in a victory over the Houston Rockets. The Mavericks enter Monday's matchup at American Airlines Center with a 4-2 record, having won three consecutive games.
