Mavericks’ Kyrie Irving Turns Heads With Latest Statement on Head Coach Dusty May

The Dallas Mavericks have received an endorsement of head coach Dusty May from Kyrie Irving, although the veteran guard had some fun before explaining himself. Irving joked that praising May too much might create jealousy among other coaches around the NBA. Once he moved past that opening, his answer offered insight into what he appreciates about playing for him. “I’ll keep it short because I don’t want any of these other coaches around the league to get jealous, but, he’s a great guy,” Irving said, according to Noah Weber.
