Max Verstappen to change race engineer as Gianpiero Lambiase steps aside

After celebrating with long-time race engineer Gianpiero Lambiase on the podium at the Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday, Max Verstappen will have a different voice in his ear for the US Grand Prix next time out. It was announced months ago that Lambiase has agreed too join McLaren when his Red Bull contract expires at the end of the 2027 season, with his current team already working on a succession plan.
