Milwaukee Brewers: Jacob Misiorowski competition for 2026 NL Cy Young revealed

Back in 2025, the Milwaukee Brewers made the decision to promote their top pitching prospect, Jacob Misiorowsk i, to the Major League level. This move led one former Brewers pitcher, Aaron Civale, to demand a trade as he was going to lose his spot in the starting rotation. Since then, Misiorowski has made two All-Star rosters, set multiple pitch velocity records, became the ace of the staff, and won the World Series. Civale has played for three different teams, primarily as a reliever. Oh, and Civale netted Milwaukee first baseman Andrew Vaughn.
