Milwaukee Brewers World Series win highlight of baseball life | Letters

Thank you to the Brewers , players, coaches, staff. Wisconsin waited many years to celebrate a World Series championship . The win is just the "cherry on top." This team of amazing young men brought Wisconsin fans something even better. They brought their own love of the game and joy of play, and it was contagious. It came at a time of darkness and division that brought all the fans together, sharing the same goal: to see their team win and the joy of experiencing that together. Who remembers how close we came to losing the Milwaukee Brewers in 1995?
