Mitch Johnson praises other Spurs hero who helped save Victor Wembanyama’s career night

Victor Wembanyama had to put the San Antonio Spurs on his back on Wednesday, as he recorded a career-high 52 points to go along with 24 rebounds and eight blocks to power them to a 112-111 victory over the Dallas Mavericks. The Spurs needed every bit of Wembanyama’s contributions, as the entire team simply did not bring it on offense tonight. The Spurs team, outside of Wembanyama made just 21 of their 67 field-goal attempts, which is “good” for a 31.3% clip. But in the end, the team showed up in support of Wembanyama when it mattered.
