NC State football news: Russell Wilson interviews for vacant HC position amid Philip Rivers buzz

Two former NC State quarterbacks-turned-borderline Hall of Famers both made three winless starts in the NFL last season and presently find themselves in the running for the university’s vacant football head coaching position. A little more than a week after Philip Rivers first emerged as a candidate , Russell Wilson is now on the Wolf Pack’s radar. The Super Bowl 48 champion interviewed for the job on Tuesday, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Wilson established himself as the greatest QB in Seattle Seahawks history before producing inconsistent results on the Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers.
