Nebraska’s Anthony Colandrea makes official decision amid transfer portal interest

Coach Matt Rhule’s Nebraska Cornhuskers are 5-2 on the season, 2-2 in the Big Ten behind starting QB Anthony Coleandrea, who beat out TJ Lateef for the starting job earlier this season. Rhule said he made a mistake he will never make again in his team’s loss to Oregon on October 17, which came against his former QB Dylan Raiola. ESPN’s Pete Thamel broke the news that Coleandrea has re-signed with Nebraska for the 2027 college football season, in a deal that is expected to make him one of college football’s highest paid players , according to On3’s Pete Nakos.
