New Mexico Men’s Basketball Starts Strong With 100-60 Victory Over Utah Tech

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – New Mexico men's basketball opened its season with a strong performance Monday night at The Pit, taking down Utah Tech behind a dominant scoring night from Jake Hall. The Lobos had a slower start offensively but still maintained control, carrying a five-point lead into halftime. New Mexico found another gear after the break, bringing more intensity on the defensive end while improving its shooting from beyond the arc. The Lobos shot 50% from three-point range in the second half, compared to 33% in the opening half, helping them create separation and take control of the game.
