NFL awards: Allen leads Purdy in MVP race, Boston new OROY favorite

A quarter of the way through the season, there are two clear MVP frontrunners, according to the odds. Josh Allen , the favorite coming into the season at +600, has shortened to +250 after another dazzling performance on "Monday Night Football," but Brock Purdy continues to challenge him at +300 and was briefly the favorite coming out of Sunday's slate. Purdy came into the campaign with 10th-best 18-1 odds. Patrick Mahomes is the third favorite for MVP at +650, as well as the odds-on favorite for Comeback Player of the Year at -300.
