NFL could make big change for Commanders-Eagles' Week 8 Sunday night showdown

The NFC East is generally must-see TV for prime-time matchups. Whether it's the Philadelphia Eagles , Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants , or Washington Commanders , all are popular prime-time matchups, especially when they face off against one another. The Commanders and Eagles are slated for a Week 8 rematch at Northwest Stadium. That game is scheduled for Sunday Night Football. But according to Rob Tornoe of The Philadelphia Inquirer , the NFL is considering moving the NFC East showdown off Sunday Night Football. The Commanders (1-3-1) and Eagles (2-3) have won a combined three games so far this season.
