NFL insider names Commanders CB Mike Sainristil as potential trade option for NFC rival

Will the Washington Commanders be buyers or sellers at next week's NFL trade deadline? We've heard Washington floated as a possibility for Colts receiver Josh Downs and Jaguars receiver Brian Thomas Jr. Defensive tackle Daron Payne was often mentioned as a potential Washington player on the move, but his season-ending foot injury last week ended any chance of a trade. At 2-4-1, the Commanders are in a weird position. Their current record doesn't sound like a contender, but they are only 2.5 games behind the New York Giants in the NFC East, and they play in two weeks.
