NFL star Campbell taken to hospital with neck injury

Detroit Lions linebacker Jack Campbell was taken to hospital to be treated for a neck injury after being hurt during an NFL game against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Campbell's head was struck while tackling tight end TJ Hockenson in the third quarter, and he was face down on the pitch when medical officials rushed to his side. The 26-year-old was placed on a stretcher and taken off the pitch on a cart to a round of applause after team-mates and most of the Lions coaching staff surrounded him while he received attention.
