Nico Gonzalez hits back at stinging criticism after Jamie Carragher's '8-2' jibe

Nico Gonzalez has insisted that there is no need to hit the panic button at Newcastle United - despite two heavy defeats on the road at Leeds and Coventry. Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher claimed the Toon had been "beaten up" and lost "8-2 on aggregate" in the last two Premier League road trips, and Newcastle now face a crunch encounter with Aston Villa on Saturday night at St James' Park. Gonzalez and his team-mates endured a raw reaction from the 3,030 fans who travelled to the East Midlands but has vowed to bounce back.
