Nico Sturm taken to hospital as Wild relive scary Brock Faber incident

The Minnesota Wild beat the Vegas Golden Knights 4-2 on Monday night, but the victory featured a scary scene when Wild forward Nico Sturm was hit in the head by a puck. With 2:14 left in the first period and Minnesota leading 3-0, Jared Spurgeon's shot through traffic struck Sturm in the side of his head. Sturm fell to the ice as the arena went silent with concern. He left the ice slowly with the help of the training staff and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
