Notre Dame avoids getting upset by Navy after huge second half

There may have been a bit of hesitation in the first half, but Notre Dame came on with a rush in the second half, and the No. 5 Fighting Irish registered a 35-13 victory over the Navy Midshipmen. Navy attempted to unleash its running attack and the service academy had a 13-7 lead late in the first half over head coach Marcus Freeman’s team. However, Nolan James scored the first of his two touchdowns when he exploded for a 52-yard touchdown run with just 55 seconds remaining before halftime.
