Oak Hills’ Madyson Peters is the Joe Orthodontics High School Athlete of the Week

To earn a spot on the ballot, Peters swept her three sets, 6-1, 6-0, 6-0, in a 15-3 victory over Hesperia on Sept. 29. She followed with another sweep, winning all three sets 6-0 in a 14-4 victory over Apple Valley on Oct. 1. Nominations are based on information available to the Daily Press. All high school varsity players from the High Desert can be considered for the ballot. Nominations must be received for consideration by Sunday morning following that week's games. Anyone can nominate an Athlete of the Week for every varsity sport.
