Ohio State’s Ryan Day will start freshman Luke Fahey vs. USC

The Ohio State Buckeyes are set to play their first full game without injured quarterback Julian Sayin. Buckeyes head coach Ryan Day had been mum on naming a starter for this weekend’s game against USC. However, it seems he has already made a decision . Per Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports, true freshman Luke Fahey is expected to get the start over sophomore Tavien St. Clair. Sayin suffered a shoulder injury in Ohio State’s 19-15 win over Indiana and is expected to miss several weeks. Fahey came in for Sayin and went 0-for-2 in his two pass attempts.
