‘Players are responsible’ – New Orleans Saints owner Gayle Benson sides with fans over poor form

New Orleans Saints owner Gayle Benson has issued an apology to the fans for the way the team has played to start the season. The Saints have started the season 1-4, with their only win coming in Week 3 against the Baltimore Ravens, thanks in part to Tyler Shough's second-half heroics. But outside of that one performance, there has been nothing positive to say about the way the Saints have played this season. Speaking in an interview with NOLA.com , New Orleans Saints owner Gayle Benson responded to negative fan sentiment surrounding the team's 1-4 start.
