Potential Steelers 2027 NFL Draft QB Target Out for Season

UCLA quarterback and potential 2027 NFL Draft selection Nico Iamaleava is expected to miss the remainder of the season after suffering a knee injury against the Oregon Ducks this past Saturday, according to CBS Sports . Iamaleava, 22, is of Samoan descent, and he attended high school at both Warren High School in Downey, California and Long Beach Polytechnic High School, and was named Polynesian High School Football Player of the Year. After high school, Iamaleava played for Tennessee from 2023-2024, and he transferred to UCLA in April of 2025, where he is currently playing as a senior.
