Prasidh Krishna ruled out of India’s ODI series against New Zealand, Mohammed Siraj joins India A

Prasidh Krishna has been ruled out of India’s five-match ODI series against New Zealand after failing to regain full fitness from a hamstring injury. The right-arm pacer, whose availability was subject to fitness clearance, needs more time to build up the workload required to return to competitive action. Prasidh is expected to join the India A squad for the third and final four-day game against New Zealand A, subject to clearing the Return to Play (RTP) assessment. The match will offer him an opportunity to regain match fitness ahead of the two-Test series against New Zealand.
