Premier League boss ‘with just two games to save job’ hit with huge fine for comments about Man Utd

FULHAM head coach Alvaro Arbeloa has received a £25,000 fine for comments made after the club’s 1-1 draw against Manchester United last month. An FA statement read: “Alvaro Arbeloa has been fined £25,000 and received a warning for comments made after the Premier League fixture between Fulham and Manchester United on Sunday 20 September. “It was alleged that the Fulham head coach acted in an improper manner by making comments in a post-match interview that imply bias and/or question the integrity of a match official. “Alvaro Arbeloa subsequently admitted the charge.
