Public Voting Period for 2026 Cartier Racing Awards Open

Horseracing fans will have the opportunity to choose their champions of 2026 during the public voting period for the 36th Cartier Racing Awards opening at noon GMT, it was announced Wednesday. The public vote accounts for 35% of the final total for each horse, while points earned in Pattern races (30%) and the opinions of a panel of racing journalists/handicappers (35%) also contribute weight to the results. Votes may be cast at the Cartier Racing Awards website until noon on Tuesday, Nov. 10. All participants will be entered into a draw to win a gift from Cartier.
