Quentin Grimes admits he got emotional when he signed with the Lakers

One of the first free agents the Los Angeles Lakers signed this summer was Quentin Grimes, a two-way wing who spent last season with the Philadelphia 76ers . Grimes is a capable complementary scorer, a good finisher in transition and an above-average defender who will reportedly be tasked with guarding opposing ball-handlers this season. He agreed to a four-year, $60 million contract with Los Angeles in July. It was a deal that some thought was too steep, given his past production, but at age 26, he could still have some room for improvement.
