Rams’ Trent McDuffie gets positive update from Sean McVay amid injury concerns

The Los Angeles Rams’ star cornerback Trent McDuffie briefly exited Sunday’s 24-9 win over the Los Angeles Chargers after sustaining a back injury. Head coach Sean McVay did not offer a clear diagnosis following the game; his initial reaction indicated that the team had reasons to remain optimistic about the defender’s condition. While speaking to reporters after the game, based on his initial observations, the Rams head coach offered an encouraging assessment of how the cornerback appeared to be feeling. “He looks like he’s feeling OK,” McVay said.
