Red Sox rumors: Boston’s offseason ‘priority’ could lead to signing star outfielder

The Boston Red Sox are expected to add a bat or two this offseason. While Boston would benefit from bringing in a starting pitcher with Sonny Gray entering free agency , the team’s “priority” will be to add a hitter to the middle of the lineup, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reports. McCaffrey mentioned outfielders Randy Arozarena and Seiya Suzuki as possible MLB free agency targets for the Red Sox. Both sluggers would make sense for this Boston team.
