Rex Ryan reportedly lobbying for Maryland coaching job

Rex Ryan has been a fixture of the media for a decade now, having joined ESPN after he was fired by the Buffalo Bills following the 2016 season. While he’s a media veteran at this point, it appears that Ryan has not fully rid himself of the coaching bug. According to a story from Jeff Ermann at 24/7 Sports , Ryan is putting out feelers for the head coaching job that recently opened up at the University of Maryland after the Terps fired Mike Locksley amid a 12-game losing streak in Big Ten play.
