Richarlison makes Tottenham return six weeks after transfer request as he starts for Spurs U21 at Cheltenham

RICHARLISON made his Tottenham return in their Under-21s’ EFL trophy trip to Cheltenham. The exiled Brazilian, 29, was surprisingly named in Spurs ‘ starting XI at Whaddon Road. His last appearance came in the opening day 3-0 trouncing at Brentford . Richarlison was subsequently an unused substitute in the 5-1 Carabao Cup victory over Charlton . Days later he was exiled by Roberto De Zerbi and left out of Spurs’ 25-man Premier League squad . Moves to Everton , Trabzonspor and Vasco da Gama all fell through, leaving Richarlison stuck at Tottenham.
