Rio Ferdinand: I will disregard Man City success if there is an asterisk attached

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand believes any success Manchester City have had with an asterisk can be discounted. City have been found guilty of all serious financial breaches by an independent panel, but they have submitted an appeal . The panel found the multiple Premier League champions to have inflated their sponsorships by close to £900million from 2009 to 2018. The club deny all wrongdoing and insist they are innocent. As a result, everything just carries on until the appeal process ends and then if needed, another panel come up with a punishment.
